
NURSERY SESSION TIMES
Nursery Places and Session Timings
William Morris Nursery places are all 5 days a week from Monday to Friday. The places offered are:

15 Hour Mornings Only Place, Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 11:30am*

15 Hour Afternoons Only Place, Monday to Friday: 12:15pm - 3:15pm*

30 Hour All Day Place - Option 1, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 3.15pm and Friday 8.30-11.30am using just the government 30 hour working families funding with no additional charges (apart from a school lunch if ordered any and any trips/visits)

30 Hour All Day Place - Option 2, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm which is 33.75 hours per week. There is a charge of £20 per Friday afternoon (£22 per Friday afternoon from September 2026) for children staying on Friday afternoons from 11.30-3.15pm as these hours are additional to the 30 hours government funding.
*30 hour children can choose to order a school lunch at a charge of £2.75 per meal or can bring a nut free packed lunch from home
*All Nursery places are school term time only
Age of Admission

All children will be admitted in to our nursery, the term after their third birthday.

Please note that we do not currently offer places to two year old children.

For children with birthdays falling between 1st September -31st August, the start date into our nursery class will be September, for the academic year.

If spaces become available in our nursery class, we will offer an intake in January and April, for children with birthdays falling between 1st September - 31st March.

Children who are new to Nursery will have an induction including a home visit, stay and play session and transition visits.
Decision of Places
Parents will be informed of their offer by e-mail. If your child is offered a place, you must confirm your acceptance to William Morris Primary School by the deadline specified, places not accepted by the deadline will be offered to the next child on the waiting list.
Please Note: The offer of a nursery place DOES NOT mean an automatic entitlement to a place in the main school. You must still apply for a school place through School Admissions, Swindon Borough Council.
